Problems receiving email - Friday 30th June 2006 From: 16:00hrs ongoing Customers accessing our mail server by ip address (194.105.69.103) will no longer connect to the mail server. Please use mail.ecoll.net for both outgoing (SMTP) and incoming (POP3) connections.
Problems sending emails - Wednesday 14th June 2006 Due to increasing spam issues we have now locked down our smtp inbound feed. Please ensure your mail client is configured to authenticate when sending email. In outlook / express you will find an option for 'my outgoing smtp server requires authentication'. Check the check box and accept the default (use same settings as incoming mail server). |
